It's remarkable....

...how much wildlife there is in the city of Baltimore.

In Herring Run Park you'll find deer, raccoons, squirrels, beaver, hawks, and more.

It's well worth a visit.

This is rare

It's not often that we catch a bird in flight, but here we have one both landing and taking off.

It's also not often that we catch a Turkey vulture on the camera. I suspect we got these captures because there is a dead deer within just a few feet of this watering hole. And it's a good thing too. Without vultures eating them, we'd be overwhelmed by carrion.
